We started Designed With Sparks during the early days of the pandemic, when we realized the 9-to-5 grind wasn't just unsatisfying—it was unhealthy for our family. We wanted more time with our kids, more freedom in our work, and more creativity in our lives.
Ryan has been welding since high school—over 20 years of hands-on experience in metalwork and fabrication. I joined him a few years ago, adding laser engraving to our offerings so we could build the business together. Today, we work side-by-side from our home shop in Usk, WA, designing, welding, engraving, and shipping every order ourselves.
